Here you can see our Silverlight Streaming Demo, encoded with OES Silverlight H.264 Exporter and streamed with our VCS - Video Communication Server. For Silverlight Streaming not IIS is required. VCS runs under linux and also support HTML5 Streaming for Apple´s iPhone or iPad, Flash RTMP Streaming and also the new HTTP Dynamic Streaming for Flashplayer 10.1.

VCS - Video Communication server / Adaptive Streaming


Onlinelibs Adaptive Streaming technology enables uninterrupted switching between video qualities for each client during actual delivery of the streamed video.
 

VCS Adaptive Streaming

vcsdrmThis example demonstrates Adaptive Streaming technology with automatic bandwidth detection. This means that playback begins with the lowest video quality and while the video plays, the visitors bandwidth is measured and automatically switched to the best possible higher video quality. At the same time, bandwidth bottlenecks are also compensated in that the technology automatically switches from a higher video quality back to a lower video quality. In addition, a firewall and proxy detection ensure real-time switching between RTMP and real HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol), whereby the same streaming properties are transferred from RTMP to HTTP streaming. The latency and performance load associated with RTMP(T) is avoided with Onlinelibs VCS technology.

VCS Adaptive Streaming

vcsdrmIn addition to automatic bandwidth detection for VCS Adaptive Streaming, there is also the option to allow the visitor to manually adjust the video quality and video resolution.
