For Flash Developer we offer our client HTTP Streaming Library for Flashplayer 10.1 for free.The package includes the segment streaming library that works without *ANY* script or apachemodule. You simply copy the manifest playlist XML and the videosegments to any webserver or any cloudfront service. The result is that we get with this solution the cheapest and stable video streaming experience on the market.

How you generate the required video segments?
If you are a OES (Onlinelib Encoding Solutions) owner you can use our HTTP Stream exporter. The same plugin is also ready today for Rhozet Carbon Coder or Harmonic proCoder. You can order the plugin from our store.

The Segment Streaming is much firewall friendly then RTMP (Real Time Messaing Protocol) or any other Protocol is. The short segments are ideal for streaming thru proxies which have a small bytesize configuration. With Onlinelib Segment Streaming you can use VCS Streamingserver or any webserver you wantt. Onlinelib generated segments are encrypted on the fly thru the Onlinelib File packager randomlessy where when you dont use VCS you only have a fixed encryption sheme which is not so strong as with VCS, but for the most szenarios we think its strong enough.
How it works for VideoOnDemand Streaming?
We released a Packager for Rhozet.com Carbon Coder and Carbon Server. The Plugin supports the generation of the required Flash HTTP Streaming including File Encryption. How it works for Live Streaming?
As soon as Flashplayer 10.1 is Final shipped we release on the same day our Flash HTTP Livestreaming solution. For this we only support Digital Rapids Hardware DRC Cards or HD Touchstream. If you would like to know more about Digital Rapids you can visit their webside when you follow this Link.
How it works for CDN´s?
Thanks to the freedom that we have with the Level(3) CDN and API´s we installed our VCS Streaming Technology for Flash HTTP Segment Streaming into the Level(3) CDN (Content Delivery Network). Our VCS Servercluster communicates directly with Level(3) tier 1 backone which are connected to 7 of the word´s top ten internet destinations.
